Linden Medical are looking for a Treatment Room Nurse, to work 7.5 - 8 hours per week on a Friday as part of the Nursing team at both Linden Ave or the Ise Village Surgery.

We are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Registered Nurse, one day a week to join our Nursing Team in the Treatment Room. Working as part of the Practice team and undertaking treatment room duties as required. Some previous experience would be preferred, although training will be available to fulfil the competencies needed to undertake the role, which includes, wound management, screening, health promotion, ear care, vaccinations & immunisations ect.

Job Title:

Receptionist / Care Navigator

Responsible to:

Reception Supervisor / Assistant Practice Manager / Practice Manager

Accountable to:

Assistant Practice Manager / Practice Manager

Salary:

£8.50 per hour (FTE £16,399pa)

Hours:

22.5 hours per week over 5 days
(normal working hours will be 2:00pm - 6:30pm, some flexibility will be required)

Location:

Linden Medical Centre (other venues as appropriate)

 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic part time Receptionist / Care Navigator to join our friendly forward thinking practice team.

The responsibilities for this role will require a confident and polite person who will be comfortable working to multiple demands and priorities in a busy GP Practice. You will be an integral part of the reception team, responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties to support the clinical provision within the Practice. 

.

Duties may include the following;

  • Process and effectively signpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service depending on the presenting condition
  • Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers’ requests appropriately
  • Book appointments in the agreed manner
  • To stay up to date with training as required and to attend PLT meetings

Hours and days as required covering absence
(working hours will vary within the times of 08:00 – 18:30)

Location:

Linden Medical Centre & Ise Medical Centre (other venues as appropriate)

We are looking for friendly and experienced people preferably with admin and reception experience to join our bank staff, to cover busy periods, planned absences (such as annual leave) and unplanned absences (such as sickness), as and when required, often at short notice.

You must be adaptable and well presented, able to demonstrate integrity and an understanding of the confidential nature of the work.   • Working as a member of the reception and admin teams
  • Ensure efficiency of appointment system and monitor flow of patients into consulting rooms
  • Delivering an efficient and high quality front of house and reception service
  • Working in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is essential
  • Input data into the patient’s healthcare records as necessary
  • Receive and make calls as required
  • Photocopying and filing
  • Other duties as required and as applicable to the post
