News regarding GP Registrars
Linden Medical Centre is a GP Registrar training practice. GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are undertaking additional training to become General Practitioners.
Dr Elaine Leong, who commenced in August, has now left the Practice to continue her GP training elsewhere. Linden Medical Group would like to welcome two further GP Registrars who will be joining the Practice in December, Dr Thomas Brooks and Dr Laila Caunhye.
Please note that the Practice will be closed on
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and on New Year’s Day.
If you require urgent medical assistance which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please dial 111, to be put through to the NHS 111 service.
If you have a life threatening medical emergency, please dial 999.

NHS Changes to sharing patient data
Information about you and the care you receive is shared, in a secure system, by healthcare staff to support your treatment and care.
It is important that the NHS can use this information to plan and improve services for all patients. NHS England would like to link information from all the different places where you receive care, such as your GP, hospital and community service, to help provide a full picture. This will allow NHS England to compare the care you received in one area against the care you received in another, so we can see what has worked best.
