NHS Changes to sharing patient data

Information about you and the care you receive is shared, in a secure system, by healthcare staff to support your treatment and care.

It is important that the NHS can use this information to plan and improve services for all patients. NHS England would like to link information from all the different places where you receive care, such as your GP, hospital and community service, to help provide a full picture. This will allow NHS England to compare the care you received in one area against the care you received in another, so we can see what has worked best.

Two Carers Awards for Linden!

The annual Jane Roebuck Carers Awards were held at Barton Hall on Wednesday the 28th January, where around a hundred professionals and Carers joined to recognize and commend the very important work that Carers do every day. Our surgery, along with three other surgeries from the county, was awarded the Bronze standard GP investors in Carers Accreditation. This accreditation was designed specifically for GP surgeries to help and encourage improvements in identification and access to the support which is available to Carers. This award acknowledges efforts made by staff for supporting Carers.

Also along with this fantastic award for the practice we are pleased to announce that Linden's Carers administrator, Jo Fox, was awarded the Shining Star award to acknowledge the innovation, enthusiasm and hard work that she has personally devoted to this project over the last 12 months.

All information and pictures from this event can be found on the Northants Telegraph website link below;
